Данная статья отражает личные взгляды автора. По его мнению все человечество можно разделить на две части: "homo volaticus" (летающий человек) и "homo terrae" (человек земли). Настоящие воздухоплаватели, это люди, не только относящиеся к первой группе, но также и к тем, кто постоянно "путешествует душой". Эта мысль привела к открытию первой выставке "Homo volaticus", где было представлено большое число картин, посвященных теме полета.
"Homo Volaticus"
A piece of fiction is presented which reflects the author's purely personal views. In his opinion, all mankind can be devided into two parts: "homo volaticus" (a flying man) and "homo terrae" (a man of the earth). Not only real aeronauts refer to the first group but also unreal ones who "travel" in the space of spirit. Their meeting resulted in the first exhibition "Homo volaticus" where a great number of pictures devoted to the theme of flying were presented.

Умберто Нобиле - известный итальянский дирижаблестроитель. С 1932 до 1936 Умберто Нобиле работал в Москве. Несколько дирижаблей, включая самый большой советский дирижабль "СССР B-6 Осоавиахим", были разработаны и построены под его наблюдением. Умберто Нобиле помнил эти пять лет, проведенных в России как один из лучших периодов в его жизни.
"Russian trace in Umberto Nobile's fate"
Umberto Nobile is a well-known Italian airship-builder, head of the "Norway" airship in R.Amundsen's expedition(1926), head of the Italian expedition to the North pole on the "Italy" airship(1928). This airship got crushed when returning. The crew was rescued by the Soviet ice-breaker "Krasin". From 1932 through 1936 Umberto Nobile worked in Moscow. Several airship, including the biggest Soviet airship "USSR B-6 OSOVIAHIM", were designed and built under his supervision. Umberto Nobile remembered the five years spent in Russia as one of the best periods in his life.

Nothing except pleasure to be higher of all mundane
Unfortunately too little facts came till our days in order to tell about first woman - pilot and, perhaps, designer of hot air balloon in every details. Miserly line of old journals carried to us only dates and surname: "Il'inskaya" - a history not kept even her name.
